The 2026 Tour Down Under started this year  with a short prologue in and around Adelaide, kicking off the men’s WorldTour season, and runs through 25 January with five road stages in South Australia.

Among the local riders, fans can cheer for Jay Vine, who has the punchy climbing ability that suits uphill finishes, while versatile all-rounders such as Luke Plapp and proven competitors like Ben O’Connor add depth to the Australian challenge. On flatter sections, fast finishers are always dangerous in bunch sprints, and strong home-crowd support provides an extra edge.

The race is broadcasted live on the Seven Network channels (7Mate / 7TWO) and streamed for free on 7plus.
