The leading women’s singles favourites to win the 2026 Australian Open title are Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Świątek, Elena Rybakina, and Coco Gauff, with Sabalenka generally topping the winner odds. 

Several Australian tennis players are in the main draw, including Priscilla Hon, Talia Gibson, Taylah Preston, and Emerson Jones, who have received wildcards to compete at Melbourne Park. These Aussies will join qualifying players fighting for main-draw spots as part of the home contingent.
